I am participating in the Color Palette Challenge being co-hosted by Judy at Patchwork Times and Vicki at Field Trips in Fiber. Each month Vicki posts a color palette based on a photograph. That month those taking the challenge can use those colors for a project. It can be any project, using any combination of the colors on the inspiration photo. I love working with color, and this sounded like a really fun challenge to me! Especially since I can easily combine it with other challenges I am working on this year. |
January’s inspiration photo and palette were lovely. I decided I would combine this challenge with my TAST challenge and select my embroidery threads from this palette.
I selected threads I already owned that fit the palette. My purple is less plum than the original palette, but I’m ok with that!

I love that you did the challenge with stitching!
Love your hand work. Something I would like to learn – ie. find the time to practice some day!
Ohh, nice! I haven’t done anything on aida cloth in years.
Nice!!!!
What a fun twist on the challenge! Great stitching:)
